Hello, Dons!

This is your campus Writing Center, and you’ve found our blog. Welcome!

Here, we work hard to plan, curate, and write ideas that will simplify tricky writing concepts and make paper writing easier for you. You can check out our Recent Posts for the newest posts and information, or browse through our menu to find older articles on topics you want to read.

Why should you check in on our blog?

We’ll give you our well-qualified tips and tricks to writing essays and assignments. At The Draft, you’ll find the invaluable experiences of IPFW students who excel at writing, our mistakes and our strengths.

You’ll be introduced to valuable campus resources and online tools, and we’ll show you why to shy away from shortcuts that you may be guilty of using.

You can also learn all about our student staff on our blog. Each semester we welcome new faces in with the old faces. Be sure check out our Meet the Team page to put faces and fun facts with names!

We showcase faculty that you may not have known have strong backgrounds in writing. Interviews and tips straight from campus professors will be posted right here on the blog throughout the semester!

We share details about cool events and activities that the Writing Center is putting on too. Never before has the IPFW Writing Center had such a cool year ahead. NaNoWriMo lovers, here’s a wink at you. Before our long awaited return to Helmke’s second floor, we’ve got a full semester in store.

Of course, you can always see info on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, so follow us on your preferred platform!

This semester might just be our best yet, and we’d love to help make it yours too.

Welcome to The Draft!     🙂
